“Alright, here’s your stop,” the coachman said, pulling the reins on his carriage’s Diornus flock until they slowed. The massive, brown-and-black flightless birds squawked and clacked their beaks. “Be careful, ya’ hear? This is goblin territory, so keep your wits about you and your eyes on your coin.”
Markus smiled and bid the coachman farewell. “Thank you, sir, but I think I’ll be quite alright!” he said. Stepping off the carriage, the young man’s sandals tapped on the stone ground, followed by the bottom of his cleric’s staff. Before leaving, he flicked a silver coin towards the coachman. “A little extra, for your time.”
After pocketing the tip, the coachman merely shrugged and shouted a command for the birds to get moving.
The cleric stood at the gates to Gabford, ready and eager to prove himself as an acolyte to the Goddess! His mission was simple — spread the good word, heal the sick and injured, build rapport among the locals, and get an overall lay of the land. That was his main priority, but Markus couldn’t deny the excitement of traveling and meeting new people for its own sake.
Gabford was a town founded and populated almost entirely by goblins. The coachman hadn’t been lying about that. However, Markus didn’t put much stock in hearsay or stereotypes. From everything he’d heard, the locals were a civilized, friendly people, even if they hadn’t yet seen the Goddess’s light.
Markus patted the satchel on his hip to make sure he hadn’t forgotten it. Those were his funds the church gave him — enough to pay for lodging, food, and an eventual trip back. Next to it was a journal for documenting his experiences. With his staff in hand, he set off into new, exciting territory.
He’d been around goblins before, but it was his first time traveling somewhere that wasn’t populated mainly with humans, elves, or halflings. Dozens of diminutive, three-to-four-foot-tall people went about their business. Unsurprisingly, his appearance drew some curious eyes.
“Heeeey, humie! You lost?” A somewhat shrill, undeniably feminine voice called out to him.
Markus blinked and turned around. Leaning forward on a barrel, the stranger addressed him with that signature sharp-toothed, ear-to-ear goblin grin. Goblin skin tones varied between different shades of green and blue, with hers being the more common mossy green. Curly, fiery red hair obscured the woman’s eyes. Long, pointed ears jutted from either side of her head, both pierced with an assortment of hoops and studs.
“Usually when a humie comes by, they’re looking for one thing~” Another goblin woman spoke, sitting atop a crate with her slender legs crossed. Her skin was a striking shade of teal blue, and she wore her dark hair cut short. Two big, bright yellow eyes examined the cleric up and down.
A goblin’s eyes could best be compared to a cat’s — often yellow or green, with pupils that were usually narrowed into slits. Proportionally, they appeared larger than a human’s. Really, the same could be said for their features in general. Big, expressive eyes, wide smiles, and a head that looked a bit too big for their small bodies lent them a somewhat uncanny appearance at first. All goblins also sported a long, thin tail with a tuft of fur at the end.
“Look at his outfit. I don’t think he’s your usual tourist,” the last goblin girl of the trio said. Her skin was a lighter shade of green, akin to a fern, with a dusting of freckles on her slightly pudgy, dimpled cheeks. She wore her auburn brown hair tied back into a messy ponytail. Leaning back against the nearby building, she crossed her arms beneath her considerable chest, clad in a simple grey tunic.
Markus glanced between the three curious locals. They seemed friendly enough, and perhaps they could point him towards the local tavern or inn. Getting a room to stay in should be his first priority, after all. He cleared his throat, put on a friendly smile, and waved. “Greetings! My name is Markus Bright, of Goddess’s Reach Abbey. Could one of you, perchance, point me to the closest lodging one may find in this lovely town?”
The three strangers gave each other knowing glances, their smiles growing ever wider. The one with the brown hair giggled. “See? I told you girls — he’s like a missionary or something.”
“Missionary? That’s boring! I’d rather be on top~” The blue-skinned goblin cackled and licked her teeth.
The redheaded goblin cocked her head. Her expression was difficult to read, given how both her eyes were obscured beneath her curly locks. “Hmmh. Are you here to convert us?”
“Not necessarily, no. I’m simply here to spread the word of the Goddess to those interested and provide clerical services to those in need. Think of me as… A friendly hand, more than a messenger.”
“Got somethin’ else ya’ can spread right here, humie~” The blue kadıköy escort one winked.
Markus cocked his head, letting out an awkward chuckle. “I’m, ah, afraid I’m not quite sure what you mean. What can I… Spread?”
The trio broke out in hyena-like laughter.
The cleric’s cheeks reddened. Was there a joke he hadn’t picked up on? Were they laughing at him? Perhaps there was just some cultural social cue he’d missed out on…
“This one’s cute! I say we keep him!” The redhead giggled. “I’m Nasha, by the way.”
“Leefai~” The blue one waved.
“Kessi.” The brunette introduced herself.
Cute?
Goblin or not… He couldn’t recall a woman calling him cute before. Perhaps it was just more common as a term of endearment here than anything else.
“T-thank you, ehm…” He brushed a hand through his short hair. “It’s a pleasure to meet you three. Might I ask where the closest tavern is?”
“Hmm…” Nasha tapped her chin, eyeing him with an unreadable smile. “How about we do you one better and show you around ourselves? There’s lots to see,” she said, turning to the other two goblins. “Whaddya’ say, girls?”
Kessi shrugged. “Why not? It’s not like we got much else to do.”
Leefai nodded. “Sure! Just stick with us, humie~”
“Heavens, you lot are too kind! I would truly appreciate the help, if I’m not distracting from any important matters.”
The trio nodded in agreement, casting knowing glances at each other before joining alongside the young man. The height difference became especially apparent just then. None of the girls could’ve been any taller than three feet, with their heads just about level with his belt. Markus tried not to ruminate on that too much.
Nasha took his hand and started guiding him along the nearby road.
Markus had tried to prepare for every possible scenario upon his arrival. From the locals being distrustful of the church, to even being outright hostile, as much as he trusted that wouldn’t be the case. Somehow, being gleefully pulled towards Goddess-knows-where by a gaggle of giggling goblin girls was a scenario he forgot to account for.
His fingers interlocked around Nasha’s smaller digits. It almost reminded him of being pulled along by an excited child, but he cast that thought aside. They were very clearly grown women, and likely wouldn’t appreciate any insinuation otherwise simply because of their short statures. Their tails swished back and forth, occasionally rubbing against Markus’s legs like a needy cat.
The swish of their tails drew his eyes south. Although their body types were distinct, they all had something in common — wide, supple hips, voluptuous curves, and backsides that swayed and wobbled with each step. Leefai was the slimmest of the three, with some faint muscle along her thighs and arms. Kessi was the most curvaceous, and Nasha was somewhere in between the other two.
When Leefai’s eyes met his, the cleric blushed and turned away shamefully. She merely giggled and winked at him.
The further they moved from the town gates, the more the air buzzed with commotion. Unmistakable scents of spices and cooking meats wafted by his nose. A sea of green and blue figures shuffled along the streets, as merchants sold everything from food to clothing to trinkets.
Now and then, someone would look his way, but they seemed more concerned with their own business.
Maybe humans weren’t as novel a sight around here as he expected? Markus would’ve loved to stay and explore, but his hosts seemingly had a different destination in mind.
“Might I ask where we’re headed, exactly?” He asked.
“Oh, just somewhere we can loosen up a bit. Get to know each other. It’ll be fun, promise!” Nasha reassured.
Leefai’s tail brushed his ankle. “Yeah! It’s like a bar, sorta. It’s where everyone goes to take a load off.”
A bar? Well, it had been a long ride here. What could be the harm in a drink or two?
The trio eventually stopped in front of a building. A sign above the entrance read ‘The Hazy Daze bar’, with the letters stylized to resemble clouds of smoke. Painted by the entrance was a goblin woman’s shapely silhouette, carrying a tray of drinks in one hand and a pipe in the other.
Before he could ask about it, Nasha’s surprisingly strong grip pulled him inside. The human ducked a bit under the low doorframe.
The scents struck him first. Pungent, earthy, herbal odors mixed with hints of something sickly sweet, along with the more familiar smells of alcohol and sweat from so many folks crowded into one spot. A thin cloud of fog hung in the air. Inside, dozens of goblins sat around the tables and by the bar, mingling, laughing, and chatting among themselves. He did spot a few humans too, sitting with groups of enraptured-looking goblin ladies.
“C’mon, let’s find a spot!~” Nasha giggled and pulled him to one of the vacant tables.
The seats and tables were small, situated close to the floor, and ümraniye escort clearly made with goblins in mind. Thankfully, the establishment had some human-sized chairs on hand, with Kessi pulling one over. The table was still comically low for him, but it was an improvement nonetheless. Markus and the girls took their seats.
“I see you three made a friend! Can I get you all started with some drinks and a bowl?”
Markus turned to greet the server, only for the words to evaporate in his throat the second he saw her.
The goblin lady greeted them with a bright smile. The cleric’s attention, however, was squarely on the green, plump mounds that she flaunted without a care in the world. Indeed, she wore naught but a violet, semi-transparent garment akin to a loincloth, completely topless. He could make out nearly every soft and supple curve the woman’s body had to offer, from her chest to the paunch of her belly, to those wide hips.
When Markus glanced around, he realized that all of the female servers were topless.
“My eyes are up here, humie~”
Markus sputtered and tore his eyes away, covering his face with a mortified blush. “Goddess, I-I’m terribly sorry! I don’t mean to make such a poor first impression…”
The server cackled. “Poor boy, yer’ red as a beet! I’m just messin’ with ya,” she said. Planting her hands on the table, she leaned closer and closer to the flustered human. The jiggle of her breasts was painfully hard to ignore. “The girls wouldn’t be out if we didn’t want ya’ to look. In fact, cute humies get to cop a feel for free~”
Markus froze, paralyzed beneath her gaze. His throat felt dry as a desert when he tried to speak. “I-I’m not… Sure what that means…”
“Like this.” Kessi suddenly took the boy’s hand and placed it on the server’s breast.
Ba-dump
Ba-dump
His heart felt like it could jump from his chest any minute. He’d never touched a woman in such an… Uncouth manner before! But as his fingers made contact with soft, smooth green skin, he instinctively squeezed, squishing the pliable fat between his digits.
“Mmh… Ya’ got soft hands, boy~” The server winked and pulled back, abruptly turning to the other girls. “So, the usual? ‘Round of ales, and a bowl of herb with a sprinkling of fairy dust?”
Nasha nodded. “Aye, but a bit light on the fairy dust. Don’t want our new friend passing out just yet!~”
“Aight, duly noted! I’ll be right back, darlings!~” She grinned and turned around, but not before giving Markus a wink and a teasing swing of her tail. “Oh, and if you want any more of that, I’ll need some tips~”
“R-right…” Markus trailed, his eyes briefly locked onto the hypnotic swing of her thick hips and wobbling backside.
Goddess protect me from temptation.
Clearly, the people of Gabford didn’t have much in the way of taboos around nudity or flirtation. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. This was just how the locals did things. Only the Goddess could cast any judgements — as her humble disciple, it was his duty to be open-minded and integrate himself into their ways. How else could he touch hearts and minds? Surely the Goddess would understand if that goal meant working outside of her usual teachings, right?
But still… Everything was already such a stark change from his life at the abbey. To think that he’d gone from study sessions in the library to gallivanting at a bar with strangers, and not to mention fondling a woman’s chest!
“…Gals, I think we broke him.” Leefai snapped her fingers.
Markus blinked, coming back to reality as the girls eyed him. “Sorry! I suppose I was in my head for a moment…”
“I think we all know which head you were thinking with~” Leefai cackled and leaned forward, elbows on the table. “So… Yer’ a priest or somethin’, right? Do priests have to be celibate?” She asked, followed by a round of giggling and snickers from her friends.
Once again, his cheeks flushed with heat. “T-that is an excellent question! Some members of the clergy take lifelong oaths of purity, but nowhere in the scripture is it stated as a requirement. However, it’s still frowned upon to overindulge in worldly pleasures, especially when one hasn’t yet been wed.”
“I could never take an oath like that– the Gods wouldn’t have made sex feel so good if we weren’t supposed to have it~” Leefai smirked.
Nasha’s ears pricked as she listened. “Hmm… Are you celibate?”
Markus chewed his lip, fingers tapping nervously on the wooden table. “Yes. I mean — no. I mean… I’m not quite sure…”
“How do you not know if yer’ celibate? Either you fuck or you don’t,” Kessie said.
Suddenly, Leefai’s eyes shot wide open. “Ooh, I think I get it! Maybe he’s a vir — “
“Sorry for the wait, darlings!~” The server returned with a tray of mugs in one hand, and a black ceramic pipe in the other.
Oh, thank the Goddess…
Markus sighed with relief as full, frothy ataşehir escort mugs of ale clinked against the table. Truthfully… He was a virgin. Whether by conscious choice or not, he couldn’t quite say. The cleric had always been so absorbed in his studies, his lessons, and setting himself as an example for all that would follow in the Goddess’s light. Idle thoughts were only natural, sure. And he’d spent a few nights exploring those feelings by himself… But the opportunity for sex simply hadn’t presented itself.
Until now, something deep inside him whispered.
He shook those thoughts aside. After all, the girls were just being exceptionally friendly! Surely there was nothing else to it.
Thanking the server, he lifted the mug to his lips and took a long swig, letting the bready, slightly gingery flavor roll across his tongue. That helped to calm his nerves, at least.
A good mug of ale wasn’t anything new to him. However, that ceramic pipe she set down certainly was. A bundle of dried herbs was densely packed into the bowl, sprinkled with a pink, powdery dust. Markus recognized the former as pipe-herb. He’d never partaken himself, but knew that some of the other acolytes would sneak away to indulge with their friends.
The server snapped her fingers and produced a tiny magical flame, then flicked it into the bowl, which began to smoke and crackle.
“Enjoy!” She chirped, leaving the party to themselves. “And try not to wear the poor boy out too much, okay?~”
“We make no promises~” Nasha giggled and took the pipe. Placing it to her lips, she closed her eyes and took a long, slow drag, letting the smoke fill her lungs before blowing it out in a thick cloud. “Hhaaa… That’s the stuff!” She coughed, falling into a sudden fit of giggles.
The pipe passed between Leefai and Kessi as they took their hits, and then fell into Markus’s hands. The cleric inspected it skeptically. “So I just… Breathe it in?”
“You’ve really never smoked before, huh? Breath in nice and slow, and don’t hit it too hard, okay humie?” Kessie said.
“Right, right. Here it goes…” Markus hesitated for another few seconds. The girls all watched him with waiting grins, seeming especially eager for him to try it. If they were offering, then it would’ve been rude to refuse, right? Being open-minded was an important part of connecting with new people, after all. He put the pipe to his lips and inhaled.
The goblin girls and a few other curious onlookers laughed as the boy fell into a coughing fit. Markus patted his chest, eyes watering as he breathed out the smoke.
“I said to go easy on it!” Kessi cackled.
“I-I did!” Markus hacked.
Then it hit him all at once. A sudden sense of euphoria washed across his body, his muscles feeling light as feathers. Pleasant tingling sensations caressed his skin. It almost felt like he was floating a few inches off the ground! “Oh.” He blinked, looking at his hands and flexing his fingers, as if feeling them move for the first time. “H-heh… It’s supposed to feel like this?”
“Feels good, don’t it?” Nasha giggled.
“It feels lovely, thank you.” Markus laughed and passed the pipe to her, then took a long swig from his ale.
Leefai grinned. “Should get ya’ to relax some, humie. Oh, hold on, ya’ got some foam on your face…”
Before Markus could swipe it away himself, he froze as the blue-skinned goblin leaned in closer and closer. An unusually long pink tongue slid from her lips, thinner than a human’s and narrower near the tip. Leefai looked him dead in the eyes as she licked the foam from beside his lip, then curled that tongue back into her maw.
Markus just sat there, stunned, cheeks glowing bright red. “T-thanks,” he squeaked.
Leefai winked at him, taking the pipe from Nasha and giving it a hit. “Anytime~”
“Yeesh… Talk about laying it on strong!” Kessie took the pipe next. “Poor boy’s gonna pass out.”
“He’ll be fiiiiiine. It’s always the gentle, pious ones that end up knowing how to party,” Leefai said.
Nasha grinned. “I wonder how gentle this boy really is. You know, when it comes down to it~”
Kessi blew out a ring-shaped billow of smoke, then passed it to Markus. “Think we’ll find out by the end of the night, humie?~”
Taking the pipe again, Marcus was far less hesitant as he took another puff. He still coughed of course, but he was getting used to the foreign sensation of smoke filling his airways. “Ahh, well… B-being gentle and kind are righteous virtues, after all!” He chuckled and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Wait. When did it get so warm?
Markus became keenly aware of his heart rate picking up. All of a sudden, it felt like he was sitting next to a bonfire, squirming uncomfortably on his seat. As his eyes flicked across the three girls, he found his attention drawn to their more… Womanly aspects. Every soft, alluring curve, from their buxom chests to their wide hips, became so much harder to ignore.
It was also harder to deny that the looks on their faces were of anything but lustful hunger.
And speaking of harder — the cleric realized that blood wasn’t just rushing to his cheeks anymore.
“Is… Is it warm in here, all of a sudden?”
Nasha giggled. “Yeah, that’s the fairy dust kickin’ in. Makes you feel all nice and tingly.”
